In November 2025, I began sounding the alarm to Caridad’s partners and government officials, letting them know our tenants needed emergency financial assistance. By a miracle, we were able to raise most of the funds, but we were still $5,000 short the day before court. I reached out one last time for help, but my calls went unanswered. On February 18, Caridad was evicted from Hebron. I had warned others that the owner and property management intended to evict all current tenants and raise rental rates, but my warnings were met with mockery. My biggest fears were soon confirmed as calls from distressed tenants and the press began pouring in. From February 19 to the present day, the media—including Spanish-language outlets—has run stories detailing the exact situation I predicted at the property, now renamed "On the Boulevard." After receiving an email stating the problem was too great for assistance, and being unable to return to the property, I felt helpless. I did the only thing I knew how to do: I started praying. I called on my prayer warriors around the world to join me in praying for our former tenants who were facing homelessness. For 50 days, we prayed. Then came 3 Keys, who brought on Kim with Lighthouse to manage the transition. Yesterday, Kim and I met to discuss the tenants moving forward. Kim is a Christian, and her company, Lighthouse, is built on Christian values and focused on compassion. God did it again—He came through at the 11th hour and did what He always does: He cared for His people. Thank you, prayer warriors. Our prayers were answered!

We are successfully transitioning some of our former tenants to 3 Keys, ensuring they have a safe place to call home and preventing homelessness.
