My colleague @_mini_202 and I are happy to announce this CFP for the workshop "Rethinking Gender, Sexuality, and the Law: A Conversation between Feminist Scholars in Postcolonial South Asia and the UK". This was made possible by the generous funding from @CLS_Cardiff!

So after, ahem, 18 years, this is published (South Asia edition in pipeline). A follow-up book, of sorts, looking at New&Old Delhi together, but as spaces of anticolonialism, with parrhesia as the governmentality framework, and a subaltern foci.See 🧵.. ugapress.org/book/978082036….

Our next virtual seminar presenter is the brilliant Julia Elyachar (Princeton) who will speak on Coloniality, Finance, and Embodied Sovereignty, drawing from her upcoming book. You can find out more and register here: exeter.ac.uk/events/details…
