They probably hoped the new signings would deliver to their push him out but it all turned into a mess and he leaves being right, that the team is inferior.

Used to think that too about Suarez but last season and his CL record changed my opinion. It’s not the going rate for players of this calibre or that have his marketability

He's just behind suarez for me in great players for Lfc. But that contract situation last year definitely tarnished it for me. What was wrong with 200k?

He's probably worth 45 as a player yes, but in our books he has a further 25m wage weight from the valuation we gave him in that extension.

Hansen, Lawrenson, Gerrard, Robertson, Souness and Clemence are all LFC legends, but obviously not intended to compete with Mo's numbers.
