I agree with the ancients, especially Aristotle, that human reason is our highest natural faculty and absolutely necessary for a good life. When a person becomes ruled by emotion rather than having the passions ordered by reason, life becomes chaotic, miserable, and deeply disordered. At the same time, I do not believe reason alone is enough. Without revelation, life ultimately feels empty, and I think that is one of the main reasons so many people in modern culture are lost. We are living in a culture marked by fragmentation, loneliness, moral confusion, nihilism, and a profound loss of meaning. That is also why I believe people can have more access than ever to mental health support, therapeutic language, and coping tools, yet still remain deeply unhappy. Those things can help, and sometimes they are very important, but they cannot by themselves fill a spiritual void. Human beings need more than techniques and terminology. We need truth, meaning, grace, and ultimately, we need Jesus

@CatholicDrip___ All of the Reformers believed in the importance and held devotion to the Blessed Mother. Somewhere along the way, future Prots discarded her and have never stopped blaspheming her since. I know it's hard but, pray for them.

@ToLiveInBloom Joking aside, it's good to see you addressing trauma through the lens of the RCC and spiritual warfare. Trauma is all too common among my generation and the secular methods aren't effective enough to address it. It needs a heavenly boost.

@RalphAJacob I’ll be specializing in trauma, but spiritual warfare will also be one of my specializations. And actually that’s a great idea. Hahaha.

The enemy uses many tactics to throw people off track, but one of the clearest is confusion. The more I think about and study spiritual warfare as I prepare myself to become a Christian therapist specializing in trauma and spiritual warfare, the more I realize that the enemy often works in patterns. He brings confusion where God brings clarity. He sows division where God desires communion. He pushes fear, despair, shame, distortion, and counterfeit urgency. He exploits wounds and tries to keep people scattered, distracted, and disconnected from the peace and order God wants for them. One thing that has stood out to me deeply is fragmentation. Fragmentation is one of the enemy’s tactics to pull people away from their calling and vocation. He tries to split apart what belongs together: identity, gifts, relationships, peace, purpose, and trust in God. But if fragmentation is the tactic, then integration becomes a form of resistance. If fragmentation is the tactic, fidelity through integration is the counterattack. That means refusing to cooperate with confusion. It means staying rooted in Christ, grounded in truth, and attentive to what something is actually producing in your life. Is it producing chaos, compulsion, fear, self-betrayal, and hopelessness?
Or is it producing truth, humility, steadiness, courage, repentance, healing, and peace? The enemy dis-orders; God orders.
The enemy isolates; God reconciles.
The enemy counterfeits; God fulfills. Be clear-eyed, unafraid, and unimpressed by the enemy’s antics. Stay close to Christ, and when you see the tactic, refuse to cooperate with it. I’ll be sharing more on this soon, including other tactics the enemy uses to try to pull people away from the path God is calling them to walk.

He has affirmed that " there will be no change in Church doctrine regarding these matters. Specifically, he reiterated that the Church's teaching on marriage remains that it is a union between a man and a woman, and he will not bless same-sex marriages"

I had over 20,000 followers on my previous account and met some wonderful people I’m still in contact with, but I honestly enjoy X so much more now. @ToLiveInBloom Have you ever had the honor of being blessed by a relic? I was blessed with the relics of Saint Padre Pio and Saint Philomena. One of my rosaries is a third class relic after I touched it to a relic of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux.

Relics are often misunderstood, so here is what they actually are. In Catholic tradition, relics are physical remains or objects connected to the saints, men and women whose lives reflected profound holiness and love for God. There are different kinds of relics: First-class relics are parts of a saint’s body. Second-class relics are items a saint used during life. Third-class relics are objects that have been touched to a first-class relic. Relics are not charms, magical items, or sources of supernatural power. Catholics do not worship relics, worship belongs to God alone. Relics are venerated, meaning they are treated with honor as reminders of lives transformed by grace. Catholics honor relics because Christianity is an incarnational faith. We believe God entered the material world and sanctified the human body. The saints’ bodies were temples of the Holy Spirit, and honoring their remains reflects the dignity of a life lived in union with God. Relics do not draw attention to themselves. They point to holiness, memory, and the quiet reality that grace leaves traces in human lives. And in a tradition that does not turn away from death but understands it as part of the human journey, reverence for relics becomes a natural expression of honesty, dignity, and faith.

@soulful_indigo In spiritual warfare, the core offensive strategy is to never fight this war alone. You need supernatural grace to overcome what's invisible. I suggest you begin cultivating your relationship with your Guardian Angel. Turn to her when an attack comes and you will be alright.

Today, I threw away all of my divination tools like tarot cards, spell supplies, dousing rods, etc. After returning from my walk to the dumpster, I got a very intense nose bleed. Spiritual warfare is real.
