My kid has great grades (4.2 weighted) with a ton of APs, leadership ec's, a very solid athletic resume, parents paying cash, etc., all at a private college-preparatory HS, and she has basically no chance of getting into a UC or CSU for her major. Not sure what needs to be done, but this is crazy. 🙄😩
