My mum took her mother to the hospital after she has a stroke and the doctor treating her said "people should die at 70 kazi yao wakizeeka ni kusumbua watoto and placing curses on them." Who doesn't want their parents to live forever?

Gustavo and Mwai Diana 💔 According to eye witnesses.. A silver Probox made a U-turn in the middle of the highway and the rider (Gustavo) was approaching at high speed. It was too late for him to react and he rammed into the side of the Probox. They both lost their lives. RIP💔

US R&B star Kelis has come under criticism for buying 300 acres near Lake Naivasha for under $200,000. Overlooking Mount Longonot and a wildlife park, she's developing a luxury wellness retreat and restaurant, employing locals and using solar fences to deter elephants. Some Locals call it land grabbing by wealthy foreigners, displacing locals and straining resources in Naivasha, a hotspot for foreign investors.

My fellow Kenyans, there is something important about CBC and Grade 10 that is not being honestly explained to the public, by the William Ruto government and, unfortunately, by much of the mainstream media. On television, we are told that Grade 10 learners are failing to join schools because of lack of fees, and that schools lack textbooks. But there is a bigger question that neither government briefings nor prime-time news panels are asking. In 2025, the government signed a €180 million World Bank loan for grade 10 & cbc education. The money was released in December 2025. Repayment by all Kenyan taxpayers begins in 2029. According to the official loan documents, part of this money was meant to: - Provide textbooks for every Grade 10 learner (1:1 ratio) - Offer full scholarships to needy students - Build classrooms to support the CBC transition - Provide free lunch for Grade 10 learners Now ask yourself: If textbooks were funded, why are parents being asked to buy them? If scholarships were funded, why are many learners failing to report for Grade 10? If classrooms were funded, why do many schools show no new infrastructure? Something does not add up. What is even more troubling is that a huge chunk of this loan is allocated to ministry offices, administration, and so-called "consultations," while less than half directly benefits learners. If loans are borrowed in the name of our children, why do offices benefit more than classrooms and students? This is not noise. It is accountability. Some truths will never lead the evening news. But they must still be told. Evidence attached below. Judge for yourself.

@MashMMXIV @austin_tunoi Who said or even insinuated it is a Kikuyu problem. This is Nairobi, it is the capital, all tribes live there and equally contribute to the problem we are experiencing. Self importance is a disease

@austin_tunoi Nairobi was founded as an informal settlement,it was a Royal Railways yard for material in 1902.Its not a kikuyu problem as many want to paint.Infact, pale Kamkunji jua kali sheds are owned by Luos,Kamba and few Kikuyu. To end this menace,we must let it collapse, start new capital!

To change Nairobi to be like Addis Ababa, itabidii 80% of Nairobians wakuchukie. You'll be fought by hawkers, those in slums, those with illegal business besides the roads and even by dumb people.

Nobody can manage to redo Mathare, Kibera, all Mukurus (Nyayo, Njenga, Reuben), demolish all river fronts structures including the posh and formal residential houses and malls...allover to comply with maximum floodline level requirement, do new sewerage, roads etc. Not in a system of governance where leaders need votes.... maybe in a benevolent military dictatorship. But for what? It's easier to relocate services, administrative functions to another location and decongest the City.

Easy? No. Almost impossible. We better relocate the Capital to another town planned from day 1 and just struggle to make improvements in NRB that , they're currently terribly at. Complete transformation of existing unplanned towns rarely works. 1. You need to eliminate the slums next to riparian lands. That's almost impossible already as that probably hosts half of NRB population. 2. Then expand sewers that were designed for smaller population. Some are on roads. So you need to compensate the property owners to create a road reserves for the bigger sewer lines. 3. The compensation and infrastructure required would cost several trillions. 4. Since you won't relocate everybody from the city like some landlords do when they want to renovate their houses, how will you do such major works on sewer lines? You'll need to maintain current lines and add a bigger one in parallel. It'll require space yet our streets are narrow already. It'll also require new roads constructed. Forget about planning a town that is already a mess. Start from zero elsewhere. Note: I'm not giving the cartels ideas. Definitely, we'd need a better govt to try this. Else, it'll be a tenderpreneur fiesta with no results... like Konza City.

Ask Tabitha Karanja if by becoming a politician she was able to save her business. Ask Ronald Karauri if by going to parliament he was able to save his betting venture. Ask Sifuna why he only gives flowery speeches that amount to nothing in reality. Ask Mohammed Ali where Paruwanja la ufisadi is? What happened to him? LISTEN No single person can change a rotten system from the inside. Those saying “tuingie kwa system tubadilishe kutoka ndani” do not understand why its called a system. A system changes you before you change it. It corrupts your morals. It alters your beliefs. You realize that its not so bad to steal from Kenyans Infact they deserve it and they want it and will happily vote for you if you do it. The only force that can overthrow a system is the people of Kenya. And they can only do that if they have enough civic education to know that they are living a lie and relying on false hope. Nothing will change until we change it.
