is prediction markets >> trading memes? i mean both are high-risk plays, but you can never get rugged on @Polymarket so in a lot of ways, yeah 🤷♂️ both memes and polymarket are high-risk cos you’re still betting on uncertain outcomes, but the type of risk is completely different with meme coins, your biggest enemy is usually the people behind the token rug pulls, insider wallets, fake volume, sniper bots, random unlocks and kols dumping on followers can destroy a trade even if the narrative is strong on polymarket, the risk is tied to whether your prediction is right or wrong, not whether the team disappears overnight there’s no dev wallet waiting to nuke the chart no random contract exploits no hidden tokenomics changing mid-trade the market resolves based on verified outcomes, so the game is the same for everyone another difference is transparency on polymarket the odds are visible and directly reflect market sentiment with memes half the market is trading pure emotion and exit liquidity tactics max pvp that’s why a lot of people are starting to see prediction markets as a more rational version of degenerate trading yes is still risky and speculative but the rules are clearer and your loss is usually capped from the start memes can give bigger explosive upside fast no doubt but polymarket removes a lot of the chaos that makes meme trading exhausting for most people like why throw my 2cents to a 10k meme that would rug me wen I could just buy some shares on polymarket and let the market decide kek if you read to this point, i do not mean to confuse or convince you just tryna make it clear to you how polymarket works and you see is a lot safer than perps and memes you all are doing while tagging polymarket to just gambling bro we're all gambling and poly is much safer wen you think abt it unc

I am very careful with onboarding irl friends to NFT space and culture. If I do I make sure they understand the nature of this new domain and also show genuine curiosity and passion.
That is the only way to bring in new collectors, believers and possibly builders.
