Mass weddings are happening across the strip despite the war, the shortages, and the economic collapse. Brides are wearing refurbished and secondhand dresses because new ones are either unavailable or unaffordable.
There's something both heartbreaking and quietly defiant about that.
War takes almost everything, but not the will to celebrate life.
