The best dribbling attackers (the best attackers) all have this one thing in common: They have so much tempo variation. It’s not like Doku/Ngumoha all stop-start, it’s natural, it flows in fascia. Combined with top acceleration/sprint-speed, unstoppable.

@itzpodolskii @Claire9979i Communicate with the child, make her see the dangers of playing the stupid games , why beat her like she stole something. l even thought she locked her younger brother, she’s literally the victim here, let her know that she can freeze to death, stop beating kids unnecessarily

@Claire9979i Nigerians parents are something else. Most of them lacks basic parental manners. Instead of thanking God for a life well saved and allow her to stay calm from the trauma, you're adding salt to the wounds

We can talk down on football organisers like FIFA, UEFA, etc...but there are few things they've done that are amazing. For UEFA, the League phase that was introduced has made the games interesting. For FIFA, this 48-team world cup has been exciting. Especially to the fans, we have more games to watch. I love the ref cam, especially Bundesliga ref cams, they're so polite haha. I love the fact that you can contest a corner kick. (I HATE HYDRATION BREAKS). What new innovation or introduction to the game do you love?

Pregunta seria: si jugaran un Mundial todas las últimas selecciones campeonas del mundo, ¿quién lo ganaría? Yo lo tengo muy claro.

Back in 2021, during my coaching course at the National Institute for Sports in Surulere, Lagos, I approached this man and asked if he could give one of my boys a chance to trial with 36 Lion. He told me to bring the boy the following morning. The next day, we met him outside Legacy Pitch. He took one look at the boy and immediately said, "This one can't play football." His reason? The boy still had a bit of baby fat. I pleaded with him to at least give the boy a chance to prove himself. Instead, he responded that if he allowed the trial and the boy failed, he would have both of us arrested by the police. I turned to the boy and encouraged him to take the opportunity regardless. But he refused. He said the comments were too disrespectful and humiliating. That day, he went home, dusted off his certificates, started looking for a job, and never looked back at football again. Sometimes, talent doesn't die because it isn't good enough. It dies because of how people are treated.

This man has mad connect when it comes to the football business in Nigeria. In Nigeria, he is one of those influential football minded people.

@TRiiNA__ No. Americans don’t think the Super Bowl is bigger in the World than in the US. Nobody but an idiot on earth believes that. But in the US? The Super Bowl is definitely bigger than the World Cup. Both of those things can share the same room. They are not mutually exclusive.

It’s getting ridiculous now. A single World Cup should never have these scorelines. • Germany 7-1 Curaçao • Sweden 5-1 Tunisia • Canada 6-0 Qatar • Netherlands 5-1 Sweden • Spain 4-0 Saudi Arabia Where are the defenders?

@HanaHoops Because it's really an ADration break, and not about player welfare. It disrupts the rhythm and intensity of the game.

Matt Damon reveals the craziest sporting event he's ever been to was a football match in Argentina “My wife's from Argentina. We went to spend Christmas there about 12 years ago. Her family's team, Boca Juniors, which is a very popular team in Buenos Aires is in the final” “I say to her uncle Hector, ‘Hey, can we go to this game?’ He gets this very serious look on his face and he's like, ‘We can go, no women, no children.’ I was like, what? I thought I was going to take the kids and we were going to go to the game” “Well… I saw why when we went because we had to get through I think three police barricades. There was temporary fencing with barbed wire put up. It was just absolute madness and police with riot gear outside” “There was nobody sitting in the best seats because that was the distance that people could throw things and hit each other” “Our team won. The other team's fans are filing out and the trophy presentation finishes and I say to Hector, ‘Should we go?’ He goes no… it was because they needed time to get out of the neighborhood where the stadium was and you had to give them like a 45 minute head start” “When they did let us out, they actually held us in these temporary kind of cages. I was like, what are we waiting for now? ‘They still need five more minutes to clear the neighborhood’” “It was absolutely crazy. Definitely the craziest sporting event I've been to”
