No law requires sports courses or clubs to ban trans people. Yet instead of allowing this inclusive event to go ahead, anti-trans campaigners pushed to have it cancelled, denying opportunities to all women and girls.

It ‘shouldn’t have taken a Supreme Court judgment’ to tell the King’s Trust that it should not allow biological males ‘to punch women for sport’. @HJoyceGender on King Charles’ youth charity’s cancelled boxing course for disadvantaged girls dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

In the run up to the publication of my next book, Sex, Gender Identity and the Law, Keble College and the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford have put together some short videos addressing some of the key themes of the book. The first one was published today:

Labour banned puberty blockers. Delayed conversion therapy protections. Fudged the Supreme Court response. Tonight, 10,000 people at Wembley Arena will say: not good enough. Trans Mission. I wish I could be there with every single one of them. transmissionlive.uk💛

Mumsnet are annoyed the Daily Mail attended the transmission concert and wrote a review of the concert. It's almost like even Daily Mail reviewers behave like normal people instead of making obsessive hate of a minority their 24/7 hobby eh? This won't prompt any reflection!

This image is enough evidence to demonstrate that the @EHRC were corrupted by a gender critical activist. I also witnessed hugs when they met in parliament. It was a disgrace, and I remain sickened to this day. They were never ever neutral. @akuareindorf

So, the hate group @SexMattersOrg has suffered another defeat. It’s been a month of losses for them and I’ve lost count.
Women’s Rights Network- Greater Manchester@WRN_Manchester

At the Denton & Gorton by-election hustings, among the female candidates, Charlotte Cadden @Conservatives was the only one to indicate she agrees with the Supreme Court ruling. Hannah Spencer @TheGreenParty @ZackPolanski Angeliki Stogia @UKLabour @Keir_Starmer @bphillipsonMP Jackie Pearcey @LibDems @EdwardJDavey did not raise their hand in agreement when asked. Charlotte Cadden has since spoken in another video responding to a direct question on women’s rights and single-sex spaces. Voters in Gorton & Denton deserve clarity from every candidate: @TheGreenParty @UKLabour @LibDems do you accept and will you uphold the Supreme Court’s ruling — yes or no? #WomensRights #SingleSexSpaces

I can guarantee that if you asked people in Manchester what they thought of Kenwood Ladies pond most would say "what" or think it was some kind of weird kitchen appliance.. I lived in London for years and had never heard of it until you lot became obsessed with it.
Sex Matters@SexMattersOrg

“Kenwood Ladies’ Pond is an iconic battleground for campaigners for women’s sex-based rights. A judgment in this case would provide a template for other single-sex services.” @MForstater in @BBCNews bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Recently, the Good Law Project (GLP) announced that it would provide funding and I assume legal advice to both Girlguiding and the WI if they remained trans-inclusive. It is clear that both organisations were threatened by the gender critical movements' “lawfare” agenda - likely (though NOT confirmed) via Sex Matters, which has form in this area, the prime example being Hampstead Heath Ponds. Maya Forstater has responded with a post on X, asking whether Girlguiding and the WI have authorised this fundraising, which she suggests breaches their charitable objects. Maya also asks if GLP has “a case”. I obviously dont know what GLP does or does not have, but it appears to me that the WI and Girlguiding wanted to stay trans inclusive; they could, as clearly demonstrated by the City of London Corporation regarding Hampstead Heath Ponds. Indeed, it was Sex Matters who was found not to have a case (the technical term is “standing”) in the Hampstead Heath Ponds case. Incidentally, TransLucent did make representations to the court in the pond case, asking that Sex Matters application be denied. Obviously, it was. We will be back to defend trans inclusion at the ponds should the need arise - because we, as a trans advocacy organisation, have standing. The same applied in the Dr Beth Upton case - we were allowed to intervene because we had standing. In regard to GLP funding to assist Girlguiding or the WI, in my opinion (I am not a lawyer), they dont need standing, they are just assisting an organisation to stay trans inclusive, as is the case at the ponds. So where do we go from here? I think the organisation most at risk here is the WI. The moment they exclude a long-standing trans woman member, she will be able to bring a discrimination case in front of the county court. I am not quite sure how the WI could respond regarding an indirect discrimination claim because a proportionality test will apply, and if a trans woman has an unblemished record of membership, my own view is that the WI will likely come unstuck. The GC movement will refer to FWS v SGM, suggesting a precedent to exclude, but no trans individual suffered a detriment in that case - it was very much hypothetical. There is still an awful lot to play for - trans people still have protection from unfair discrimination via the protected characteristic of Gender Reassignment. This was highlighted in the FWS judgment. A couple of days ago, TransLucent made it clear that 2026 will be the year of litigation - I am pretty sure we will be quite busy. GLP will need funding, as will TransLucent. As the organisation's CEO, I am obviously biased, so please also donate to us. Thanks. translucent.org.uk/donate/

@speakoutsister Actually there isn’t even fundraising. It’s GLP offering donations in the form of indemnity or insurance to WI & GG.

@ReactiveAshley Badenoch’s mantra that gay kids are told they’re born in the wrong body needs to be smashed. A trans kid asks for help & Terfs are doing everything they can to replace their lived reality with something else. It’s why they’re so desperate to keep cruel conversion therapy.
