I have been steadfast in my belief that President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security has made our communities less safe, left states to suffer alone in the wake of natural disasters, and completely disregarded the rule of law.  I have no faith that any Trump-appointed nominee, including Senator Mullin, will have the independence and vision they need to make the necessary changes to protect our rights, follow the rule of law, and respect human dignity. For these reasons, I voted no on his nomination.

Instead of lowering costs for Americans like he promised, Trump is instead dead set on making it harder for you to vote. I’m a NO on the SAVE America Act.

Trump cut food assistance for millions of Americans. Now he wants another $200 billion for a war he had no right to start. I’m against this war, and I’ll vote against this funding. Full stop.

Trump is asking Congress for $200 billion for an unauthorized war in Iran. $200 billion for weapons, but not a single penny for housing, food, or healthcare for the American people. It’s never been more clear—Trump was never “America first.”

This weekend, thousands of Native Americans will gather in Denver to celebrate their cultural heritage at the 50th anniversary of the Denver March Powwow. What once started as a youth enrichment program in the 1970s is now one of the most celebrated Powwows in the country. We must remain committed to honoring the resiliency and uplifting the history of our Indigenous communities in Colorado and nationwide.

Senate Republicans keep blocking our attempts to fund TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard. They could’ve paid TSA workers TODAY but they voted against it.

It’s crystal clear now that Trump has lost control of this war. He badly misjudged Iran’s ability to retaliate. The region is on fire. 1/ I’m going to explain to you in this🧵what I’ve learned - in part from closed door briefings - about the four biggest current crises.

@GAltringham I saw this once in theaters when it came out, and then not again until about a month ago. Gerard Butler is also in it, and it’s fucking FANTASTIC! McConaughey is a legit psychopath in this film and it’s GLORIOUS!

Eight people at a dinner party snorted lines of pure LSD thinking it was cocaine. 260 to 2,100 doses each. Five went comatose. Three stopped breathing. All eight walked out of the hospital within 48 hours. Heroin kills at 6x a normal dose. These people took 2,000x and lived. The scheduling system was never about danger.

The current DEA/FDA classification still lists LSD as Schedule I with "no currently accepted medical use." That said, Phase 2 trials in 2025 (MM120 formulation) showed a single 100-200μg dose cut generalized anxiety scores by 5-6 points vs placebo at 12 weeks, earning breakthrough therapy designation. Phase 3 results expected later this year could support approval by 2027. Scientific views have shifted sharply since the 1970s—promising data now exists for anxiety, depression, and more, even if full approval lags.

They're implying U.S. drug scheduling (LSD in Schedule I: "high abuse potential, no medical use, unsafe") isn't rooted in objective physical danger or overdose lethality. This 1972 case proves LSD has an absurdly high safety margin—surviving 260-2,100x a normal dose with full recovery in 48 hours—unlike more toxic drugs, suggesting schedules reflect politics, history (counterculture era), or other non-scientific priorities instead.

Am I the only one who, when I’ve lost something, absolutely will look in a place it cannot be just to “make sure”? Like: “Maybe I dropped it to the bottom of the dog food container?….or is it behind the stacked up paint cans in the basement”? #OCD I guess.
