Just came back after 11 years and made this account to put all the 343 lovers back in check. Few pointers👇 •Yes, I am a REAL Halo fan • If you are a fan of "Halo" past the year 2011 (aside from Halo Wars 2)🫵 are NOT a real Halo fan.

Ah yes, 343 has done Halo's lore so well. Definitely isn't full of plot holes, retcons, and story lines that end outsideof the games. The series the defined 2 console generations has clearly been doing so well under 343's watchful eyes and isn't the butt of gaming jokes. Silly me

@pinglyadya Jackal majors from yellow also glared red when shot with plasma, the red would get darker until the shield broke. The real issue here is the fucking terrible Reach Ai & the shield is barely visible at all in this terrible super bright environment, shield looks almost translucent

@pinglyadya To be honest, bullets never made jackal shields change colors, but you could see each round flare and bounce off the shield. Plasma made a jackal minors shield go from blue to slowly flash more red until it broke. It would slowly turn purple and back to blue.

@pinglyadya What is up with these weird bullet trails from the fully automatic weapons? I seen this on the AR too. It was cool on the sniper in the originals because it helped you pinpoint who was zooming on you, but full auto is meant to get up and personal with, they don't need that.

As someone who was a kid in NYC when the towers fell, witnessing the unified countrywide uproar in its aftermath, & was there to see H2s midnight release, this is another reason why I say these "people" can never be real fans bc it's just simply before their time

"Fan" (noun): An ardent admirer or enthusiast. I've met some folks that think every game past Halo CE was terrible. One genuinely thinks Halo 2 ruined the franchise. They are all fans, just of what they choose to be a fan of.

People like this, "Bungie purists" are the most antithetical talking heads to the original point of the tagline for Halo. It is combat EVOLVED. The franchise is SUPPOSED to change shit and try new things. Wanting Halo 1-3 to be every halo is peak stupidity and irony.
