Houston is seeing major improvements with the new Green Corridor, a 14-mile network of connected trails, transit access, and pedestrian upgrades linking East Downtown, Downtown, Midtown, the Museum District and Third Ward. You really do have to imagine Sisyphus happy, it took a year to do and millions of dollars and it accomplished nothing and is worse for everyone than the previous design in all regards but hey we made it less safe for cyclists so mission accomplished


In Montrose, a volunteer crossing guard in a neon vest uses a flashlight to help pedestrians safely cross busy Westheimer near Crocker. He’s been showing up since October—every Friday, Saturday and Sunday—starting early mornings and returning after dark to look out for the neighborhood. 🔗bit.ly/4lyflGu
