GRIFT ALERT: Another high-level City of Denver official jumps to Colorado Coalition for the Homeless after 27 years with the CCD. @COCoalition
Stephanie Adams, Deputy CFO at the City and County of Denver, has accepted a position at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) under CEO Britta Fisher.
After 27 years riding the City payroll and collecting a fat $234,000 salary, Adams (along with her boss CFO Nicole Doheny) has been one of Mayor Mike Johnston’s blindly loyal budget minions, drinking the Kool-Aid and pushing his agenda no matter what.
CCH reportedly courted Adams for over a year after the departure of their previous CFO, Pete Stoller (who pulled in $272k reportable compensation + $34k other comp).
Britta Fisher, former Director of Denver’s Department of Housing Stability (HOST), joined CCH in 2023 and now makes $335,000 base + $15k in other compensation.
Question for taxpayers:
Why does a nonprofit, largely funded by city contracts meant to help the homeless, need multiple C-level executives earning $200k–$335k+?
The mission is supposed to be passing money through to programs and people on the street, not building a high-paid executive suite. When city insiders keep landing these six-figure nonprofit gigs, it raises real questions about accountability and where the money is actually going.

A communist group called the Revolutionary Student Front is recruiting children at Beaverton High School @BeavertonSD near Portland, Ore. for its extremist event on April 24. They will train lessons from the recent California warehouse mass arson attack and the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
The group seeks to radicalize students from a young age and groom them to become foot soldiers for a communist revolution. The event flyer being distributed to students glorifies political violence, including accused murderer Luigi Mangione, the attempted assassination of President Trump, as well as images of fire and a gun.
The same Revolutionary Student Front chapter in Beaverton, along with a local chapter of the Sunrise Movement, was also responsible for organizing the "student walkout" event in December to oppose ICE and U.S. borders. ngocomment.com

Three family members were brutally murdered and zip-tied in their home: Mother (46) stabbed and throat slashed, pregnant teen daughter (17) shot, and 12-year-old son throat slashed nearly decapitated.

So it is with states that have one mega county that withholds its vote reporting until it is clear what margin is needed to win. Americans should expect to have elections in which transparency is afforded.

The U.S. government sent a plane directly to Cuba to rescue a 10-year-old Utah child allegedly kidnapped abroad by the father, who is trans, and his partner to potentially began medical transition of the child. Those in Denver leading the war on cars believe mass transit and "intermodal transportation" are better options for Denverites. But stubborn or untrainable Denverites apparently see things differently.
By making the lives of drivers miserable, through various "road dieting" schemes, the city's social engineers hope to force motorists onto bikes, or to use the transit system. But none of it is working, #copolitics.
Subtracting roadway space, and handing it over to a tiny group of bicycling baristas, is making life miserable for drivers -- so Denver has that part of the scheme down pat. But transit numbers are falling, not rising, and the whole system is teetering on the brink of disaster: archive.md/Ipmyp
Transit advocates often operate on a "field of dreams" premise, thinking that "if you build it, they (the mythical riders) will come." When riders don't come, or stop coming, most transit schemes become black hole boondoggles like Denver's Regional Transportation District.
