So, I walked into my local @scotiabank to pay my wife's Visa bill. 1) They wouldn't allow me to pay her bill. 🤷‍♂️ 2) They refused to accept CASH when my wife went in, (with the required MULTIPLE pieces of ID) to pay. 🤷‍♂️ We're obviously trying to go towards a cashless society.

I’m so upset… My Kindle is fifteen years old. It still works fine, and I want no other. I read a lot, and this is the only e-reader that doesn’t hurt my eyes. None of the new models have a screen that so perfectly mimics paper. And now Amazon is forcing me to buy a new one. 😡 I don’t need a touchscreen or sound, and I definitely don’t want adverts! 🤬 The timing couldn’t be worse either… I can’t afford it right now. ☹️ I guess I won’t be buying more ebooks for a while... I’ll just have to read the ones I already have.

Something I don’t understand is how you can live in an apartment and complain about noise from your neighbors. We have two kids under 10 and they’re always making noise. Older neighbors sometimes complain or bang on the floor or ceiling. If you don’t like noise, then why are you living in a city or an apartment? Go live in the middle of nowhere.
