hey guys
this will be a long post so if you don't really know me and skip this one, its no hard feelings, but for my friends, my core audience, and for those who care, i have an update
i think that part of being a creator on YouTube is trial and error - giving new types of videos a chance to see if your audience enjoys it.. to see the things that naturally work, and the things that don't
yesterday, i tried a new video style, and before i even uploaded the video, i knew there were very high odds it would perform poorly, but, i posted it anyways in hopes that it might be similar enough to my other videos, that my audience would receive it well
first of all, i want to acknowledge that there were so many kind words, a lot of you guys went and showed it love, so i'm very grateful for that 💙 that being said, the videos performance was VERY not great, as expected when trying new stuff
however, i just cant shake the feeling that it was a step in the wrong direction, at least for right now.. the thought that keeps presenting itself to me is that i should be posting things that MOST people enjoy watching, and i know which types of videos those are extremely well
so as for the "newer style" of content that i had plans for doing.. i'm glad i tried it, but, i think that maybe if we try it at a time where fortnite viewership was alot higher, that we could see more success with it.. but i don't regret trying it, and i'm happy that some of you guys really enjoyed seeing it
for now though i think it is smarter for me to focus on grinding the types of videos that i know people really want to see, rather than experimenting during a time where fortnite viewership is declining, and potentially pushing some of my audience away
vibes are still very great, i don't want this to be a negative thing, its good to get out of your comfort zone and give things a shot, and as always i will be listening to everyone and showing love to my community where i can 💙 also, i have HUGE videos planned too, releasing VERY soon, that i know you guys will love 👀
