@chrisfenwick I can see super basic edits being great on other platforms, but when things get complex and real- Final Cut gets you in and out of the job so fast!

For those that follow me because of my old Final Cut Pro podcast… I wanted to make an announcement. DaVinci Resolve will be my next edit platform. . . . . After they pry FCPX out of my cold dead hands.

@chrisfenwick How is it that the pure editing features that make Final Cut such a timesaver don’t get a mention. Database like management, timeline and render performance. Since when did grading become editing? It’s the last part of the process and usually 10% or less of time/ budget

This trend of holding a lav mic looks ridiculous, maybe taping a shotgun mic to your chest may be the next thing.

@Alex4D @moosefuel I love that my competition is on slower editors- it gives me a massive competitive# advantage in my production business. I can turn around edits in half the time of someone on premiere. So apple - shhh!

Why doesn’t Apple publicly promote Final Cut? Or implement a go-to-market plan that incorporates the needs of a wide range of third parties? Does Apple see publicly supporting individual products as ‘un-Apple like,’ too hard to control or too ‘noisy?’ My answer: Manage better.

@MickColliss @7mate i stumbled across step brothers last night - surely one of the all time classics. Sums up pre teenage boys so well. Incredible improv based acting keeps so many different looks, themes and colours coming at you and every film should have an epic fart gag.

@5tu a satisfying and emotional film but the plot is a hot mess! (Which somehow doesn’t stop it from being a great film)

Been sleeping on an _Encanto_ rant, but this encapsulates it well. The whole film is this, wall-to-wall: Vivid character relationships beautifuly visualized with lush, detailed animation, lighting, and effects.
