Russian Duma member Zyuganov announced that the state should seize the populations' bank deposits as soon as possible so "all that money can work for the state". Being now discussed includes 67 trillion rubles from citizens and 63 trillion rubles from businesses, which "are lying in banks and not working for the Russian economy". If this money were taken for the state's use, it would be possible to close all the budget gaps.

When you vote for an MP, you vote for their party’s official manifesto, giving the PM a clear mandate to deliver those EXACT pledges. While opposition parties can freely change policies after a defeat, they are no longer tied to their General Election pledges. An elected government that ditches its elected manifesto mid-term, especially under an unelected PM who campaigned on an entirely different platform and position to the original manifesto is breaking the democratic contract they got elected on! This leaves the government with no genuine mandate from the people. Do your research!!!! It’s very different when you aren’t elected on a manifesto!
