@ericauk I had my first one in January and I was nervous but found it absolutely fine. Not as tight or as loud as I imagined. Main thing is to ensure you don’t wear anything with metal zips, buttons, underwire etc 😁

Deeply disappointed with @marksandspencer . Drive 40 min to store. Spend ages selecting and trying things on only to get to tills to find they are not accepting gift cards. Why are there not signs everywhere so people don’t waste their time?

@lori_winter105 @revdwillrm Oh so much to unpick 😁 Leviticus was written by humans trying to understand the mind of God - it’s not literally Gods words. The bible is a living document meant to be debated & wrestled with through the ages. May I suggest that as you debate it you remember 1 John 4:16 💕

@RevJaney @revdwillrm Leviticus 18:22. I’ll also quote Pope John Paul I to you “Rev Janey”: ‘Christ bestowed the pastoral ministry on men alone, on his apostles.’. Regardless of this being Catholic teaching, the theology is sound. So take your fake prefix out of my face and keep quiet.

@R4che1H There are only 108 bishops and their biographies are more readily available so it’s easier for those interested to compile stats then on 7000+ clergy 😁

@RevJaney There’s data on bishops but not sure about other clergy. I imagine it was easier to track in eg the 1940s/50s when there were fewer, all men and more Oxbridge centred.

Anyone got any ideas how I can find out what % of C of E clergy were privately educated in the latter half of the twentieth century?

@greenbelt can I propose that next year we inaugurate a reading week where we all stay at Boughton and read the books we bought, get together of an evening to share the impact they have had on us and have the space to let all we have seen and heard permeate into our very beings?

Home from another amazing @greenbelt - but too soon the bubble bursts… the washing needs putting on, the work week needs to be planned and real life hits you round the face like a wet haddock…..
