few months back, I said Peter Obi shouldn't have dumped the Labour Party, he needed that platform for stability. Instead of the Obidients seeing the sense in it, they came for my throat like brainless zombies. I saw this exact drama coming from a mile away... Atiku will never hand over his presidential ticket to Obi. Not in this lifetime. Political prostitution!

2027: I’m Not Sure Of Getting ADC Presidential Ticket – Peter Obi 😭😭 Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has revealed that he is unsure about securing the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general elections. Obi spoke candidly about the uncertainties surrounding his political journey and ongoing coalition discussions. He noted that while many have questioned his chances within the ADC, there are no guarantees. “I’ve been asked how certain I am that the ADC will give me the ticket. The truth is, I cannot be sure. What matters most is our commitment to a shared cause,” he said. The former Anambra State governor emphasized that his priority is building a movement focused on national interest rather than personal ambition. According to him, the current political environment demands resilience, consistency, and sacrifice especially from those in the opposition. Reflecting on Nigeria’s current state, Obi expressed concern about how the country reached this point and warned against abandoning efforts to create a better political alternative. “I often ask myself how we got here and what could happen if we stop pushing for change,” he added. Despite reports of political pressure and internal challenges, Obi insisted that he remains steadfast in his mission, noting that no form of intimidation has deterred him. Obi further highlighted concerns about trust and loyalty within political alliances, admitting that uncertainty remains a key issue when dealing with different interest groups. “We can’t be completely certain that those we’re working with today won’t walk away tomorrow. That uncertainty is always there,” he stated.

@bellosaleh @sultan_ofsokoto @officialABAT If only you had not open handedly welcome terrorists in that region prior 2015 general elections. You forgot to query Dangote refinery in the same Lagos. Why is it that PhD. is cheap to get this days?

A video that has recently gone viral alleges that the @sultan_ofsokoto recently met with President @officialABAT and asked a simple question: If Nigeria needs a U.S. military base… why must it be in the North? Now hold that thought. Because a day or so later, Education Minster, @DrTunjiAlausa, on a UK trip with the President, is announcing below a partnership between his ministry, @NigEducation, and Coventry University to award UK degrees… in Nigeria. Location? Alaro, Lekki. Lagos. So let’s get this straight: One region gets foreign universities. Another gets proposed foreign military bases. Opportunity vs occupation. Books vs boots. Degrees vs drones. And no, this isn’t about Coventry University. That debate can wait. This is about a pattern. A pattern where development flows in one direction… And strategic burdens are shipped to another. Where Lagos gets foreign universities. The North gets foreign military bases. Coincidence? Maybe. But patterns, when repeated often enough, stop being accidents. They become policy. And the real tragedy? Other #Nigerian regions are too busy with petty politics to notice. And #Arewa, once the loudest political voice in the room, now watches in silence. Compromised. Muted. Managed. Docile. Absent. #AllahGaMuGareka
Dr. Tunji Alausa@DrTunjiAlausa

I’m in London with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and we are already making real progress — advancing a major partnership with Coventry University to bring UK degrees to Nigeria. This is personal. For too long, families have had to send their children thousands of miles away in search of quality education. We are changing that. With Coventry University Nigeria, our students will be able to earn fully accredited UK degrees — at significantly lower cost — without leaving the country. As I’ve said, we want Nigerian parents to enjoy having their children at home, while still receiving a world-class UK education. The proposed campus in Alaro City, Lagos will offer Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes across STEMM, Business, and TVET, with admissions expected between Q3 and Q4 of 2026 (subject to approvals). Beyond access, this is about building Nigeria’s human capital — developing the skills, talent, and workforce needed to drive innovation, productivity, and long-term national growth. We are bringing global opportunity home — where it belongs. #alausaedureform #NoDaysOff

@adamugarba What about Nigeria? Try and say something meaningful. At that point in time, we don't have mullahs in Persia. It was a peaceful and accommodating nation with natural borders.

In fact, the country, Saudi Arabia was a British invention. There was nothing called Saudi Arabia prior to 1932. Similar to the gulf states; the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar. They were all a colonial British creation. They were called the Trucial States before the invention. Unlike Iran, which has been in existence for more than 6000 years with natural borders, Non of these GCC countries are natural countries. They are all the creation of Sir Mark Sykes (British) and Francois Georges-Picot (France).

If you want to understand the level of wastefulness happening in this government, go to Lagos and see the Yacht Tinubu "bought" for 5 billion Naira. He has never stayed 20 minutes in that coffin in water. Only those white guys come everyday to 'inspect' and leave the yacht. The Navy only assigned some men to keep duty on the ship. It will never be used but a whooping 5 billion Naira was claimed to be spent there!!!

DEFENCE HQ NIGERIA@DHQNigeria

MISREPRESENTATION OF THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF’S REMARKS The attention of the Defence Headquarters has been drawn to a misleading and circulated report by a certain online medium which grossly misrepresented the recent remarks of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Olufemi Oluyede, regarding the fight against terrorism in Borno and Yobe States. Ordinarily, the Defence Headquarters would not dignify such distortions with a response. However, in view of the potential to misinform the public and undermine ongoing counterterrorism efforts, it has become necessary to set the record straight. At no time did the CDS indict or generalize that the good people of Borno and Yobe States are complicit in terrorism, as falsely portrayed. Rather, the CDS emphasized the critical role of community partnership, vigilance and collective responsibility in addressing the evolving security challenges facing the nation. The CDS stated that "the fight against terrorism is not the responsibility of the military alone. It is a collective duty. The people of Borno and Yobe must reject terrorism in all its forms and actively support security agencies with credible and timely information.” The CDS' call for residents to “take ownership” of the fight against terrorism is consistent with globally accepted counterinsurgency practices, which recognize that sustainable security can only be achieved through close collaboration between security forces and local communities. The CDS specifically referred to instances where criminal elements and collaborators exploit community structures to aid terrorist activities. He gave an example of a particular town where some wounded terrorists who earlier took part in attack against own troops were found within the community which implied that some residents of the community were complicit. He therefore reiterated that to end terrorism, all hands must be on deck. “Our people must resolve that this has to come to an end" he noted. This was clearly not a blanket accusation, but a factual observation aimed at encouraging communities to remain vigilant and supportive of security agencies. It is important to state that the Armed Forces of Nigeria remain fully committed to their constitutional responsibility of defending the territorial integrity of the nation and protecting all law-abiding citizens. The military continues to record significant successes in ongoing operations across the North East and other theatres. DHQ urges media organizations and content creators to exercise professionalism, verify facts and avoid sensationalism and wrong framing that could create unnecessary tension or erode public trust. We deeply appreciate the resilience, cooperation and sacrifices of the people of Borno, Yobe and indeed all Nigerians in the collective fight against terrorism. It is important to also appreciate the great role being played by journalists in the same drive. Together we shall overcome the enemies of our nation. SAMAILA UBA Major General Director, Defence Information 19 March 2026

Take a close look at this picture. Do you notice how the ministers are following the King and the President? This isn’t just about the dinner, my fellow Nigerians. You’ll see that each minister has a British counterpart, and they’re all engaged in discussions. Do you really think those conversations are meaningless ? Photo Credit: @NGRPresident @otegaogra
