Just a reminder to folks, Memorial Day isn’t for veterans, it’s in memory of those that gave the ultimate sacrifice and died for their country and our freedom. Veterans will politely say thank you and often not correct however this isn’t our time - we have Veterans Day for that. Memorial Day we remember the fallen. Those that aren’t here. Those that have bravery beyond us veterans and those that sacrificed themselves, their future, their families so I can be here today. Memorial Day is a somber day for us, a day of remembrance that the world is much more violent and difficult than the sheltered lives we live here everyday. God Bless those that sacrificed themselves - that they may be in forever in your grace Lord, that their families be blessed and forever in the light for their ultimate sacrifices as warriors and as heroes. Bless them Lord with forgiveness and love and remember their names. Many have taken their own lives in service to country, forgive them Lord for they battled even after the combat faded. Remember them. They are why we are here today.
