@mnhshockeytalk I’d add Wanatchee Wild to that list. Bliss and Fred are the best.

Stan Marple put in his resignation as GM of @GBHKY. His final day will be May 31st. He was with the organization for 21 years as a player, coach and GM.
Bears are in a transition period on and off the ice. Clare Drake is being renovated, and they will play next year at Silent Ice and now are looking for a GM and assistant coach.

A good example of why the big point totals in the CHL are a bit questionable, 0 pressure applied by the defense
A huge reason why I’m worried about the Islanders drafting Rudolph (#10 in green) if he “falls” to them. Too passive in his own end.

Oh, that's a sweet little dish from Markus Ruck to his brother Liam.

@TheMrWilhauk And here I thought beef jerky was so expensive because the Strait of Hormuz was closed

@ReporterTubb @JeffMarek It’s like taking back a abusive husband

Gavin McKenna is in Medicine Hat, skating today with the Tigers in Penn State gear.
As far as I know he’s just here to skate with former teammates, which echoes what @JeffMarek said. #medhat

@JonKeenNLSports You put him on a pedestal like it was a highlight reel goal. It was a simple wrist shot from the point. The glazing is ridiculous.

Big news for @BladesHockey as Cooper Williams says he will return to Saskatoon for the 2026-27 season.
Williams is committed to North Dakota and had 57 points in 66 games in his draft year.
@CKOMNews @CJMENews
English

The same goes for fellow North Dakota commit Brayden Klimpke, who will also be returning to @BladesHockey next season.
Says he feels “unfinished business” in Saskatoon with how this season ended.
@CKOMNews @CJMENews

@BladesHockey Hopefully the twin towers on the backend can keep the shots below 19 in the first period
English

@BladesHockey The distinguished group of NCHC commits plan on scoring more than one goal this series?

Someone outside the top 10 might be the #NHLDraft steal. Likely top 10 based on analysis of drafting rankings/sites. #NHL
Mock Draft
*Gavin McKenna
LW | Penn State (NCAA)
Near-unanimous #1 across Tankathon, TSN/Button, NHL CS. Elite hockey sense, skating, and playmaking; 51 points in 35 NCAA games this season.
*Ivar Stenberg
LW/RW | Frölunda HC (SHL)
Strong #2 in most rankings (Tankathon, past EP updates). Explosive first-step quickness, compete level, and NHL-ready game. SHL production + World Juniors impact lock him
*Chase Reid
D | Soo Greyhounds (OHL)
Consistent top-4 across the board. Big, right-shot D with offensive upside (48 points in 45 OHL games) and shutdown ability.
*Keaton Verhoeff
D | North Dakota (NCAA)
#2 NA skater in Central Scouting; #4-5 elsewhere. Huge frame (6'4"), elite skating, and two-way projection. Rising fast in college.
*Caleb Malhotra
C | Brantford Bulldogs (OHL)
Big riser—#5 in Tankathon, #5 NA in CS. 84 points in 67 OHL games with elite passing, size, and two-way play. NHL-comparable upside like Hischier.
*Carson Carels
D | Prince George Cougars (WHL)
#2 in Button’s March list, #3 NA in CS. Dominant WHL D (73 points in 58 games) with Lidstrom-like poise and physical edge
*Alberts Smits
D | Jukurit (Liiga)
Steady top-7/8 in Tankathon and Button. Big, physical European D with good puck-moving and Liiga experience.
*Tynan Lawrence
C | Boston University (NCAA)
Strong college producer with skill and hockey IQ; slots in the 7-9 range across sources
*Viggo Björck
C/RW | Djurgårdens IF (SHL/J20)
Button has him as high as #6. Undersized but ultra-skilled playmaker with speed and compete; rising in European scouting
*Ethan Belchetz
LW | Windsor Spitfires (OHL)
Big power forward (6'5", 227 lbs) with 59 points in 57 OHL games. Physicality + scoring touch makes him a safe late top-10 pick.

@PuckPreps @BGSUHKY I wonder if the same sugar daddy that pulled strings to get him in at OHAE pulled some BG alumni strings to get him here?
