Basically, whatever resolution and aspect ratio your device requests: Steam will configure your virtual display to match that upon connection (I really hope Valve ports a version of Steam Link to visionOS so we are not stuck forever in iPad aspect ratios)

Valve added a surprising new feature to yesterday’s Steam Client Beta Headless PC users, such as myself, tend to use the SudoVDA virtual display driver so we are not limited to a single resolution/aspect ratio when streaming our PCs Steam Link now automatically caters to that!

No matter how many videos I make or how many times I say it, I see new posts every day on all social platforms that say "Meta is leaving VR" "The Quest is dead" or "What happens now that Meta is done with VR?" Sometimes it's fear mongers just rage baiting or people just spreading misinformation. But sometimes it's legit people who don't understand what is actually happening or who are just confused because they were given wrong information. It doesn't help that a lot of online news outlets have zero desire to do research or report facts and just parrot whatever they see or whatever they want to say. Meta isn't done with VR. The Quest isn't dead. Horizon Worlds is switching to mobile where it honestly probably should have been in the first place. Lots of devs still working on amazing projects for Quest.

During @boztank AMA on Insta, Horizon Worlds isn’t shutting down on June 15th. It will reverse back into being an app (uninstall if you wish) & existing worlds/games built on the Horizon Unity engine are still playable in VR. This a win. The Horizon community keep their app and anyone not interested can carry on without it. This is how it should have always been. A choice 👍

Well I got my answer. Quest’s Hyperscapes Capture and view features aren’t completely going away But if you wanted to invite people to see your captured environments.. or explore them together with co-experience: that is getting shut down on March 24th
