I never thought I’d be writing posts like this. Watching my 21-month-old grandson and his daily fight changes everything. This is Elijah ❤️ He’s just 21 months old… and already fighting for his life. Born with a rare heart condition (Ebstein’s anomaly), he has been critically ill multiple times and has even needed ventilation to survive — but every time, he’s fought his way back. He’s under the care of Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, with support from Boston Children’s Hospital. He will need life saving open-heart surgery specifically the Cone Procedure to have any chance at a normal life. @RobbStansfield My son has Ebsteins Anomaly, he had the cone procedure 2 years ago. Hes 9 years old now, no longer on any medication and thriving (was on 7 doses a day) The early years were the scariest, have faith in the doctors. Sending you positive vibes!
