Sean McDermott just gave an excellent answer/insight into the conversations going on during the 1-yard line kneel/score situation. He said he even originally wanted to bleed clock/kneel, but then decided not to get too cute and have a negative play. Essentially said it's a tough call and something they are going to discuss at length with his game management staff to go over it for future situations. Will have the full quote on this later. If the actual players voted for MVP, it would be Lamar Jackson by a landslide. But they don’t and the media does. Funny how the people that have to game plan and compete against the players think. Coaches too.
