@JamieWhistle @sarahkahncept @TakedownMRAs If my experience was not trans, calling myself a lesbian would not have felt so wrong. And there are plenty of gay trans guys and lesbian trans women to also debunk your theory. Try listening and learning instead of being so sure of yourself.

Yet I understand how living in society works, we are afforded and provided decisions in our life based on the cultural framework with which we are in. Right now, gender non-conforming individuals. Most of them homosexuals are in a cultural framework that identifies their experience as trans. We could create a cultural framework where gender non-conformity is embraced, excepted and celebrated- without asking or suggesting anyone to make physical alterations to their body, which will inevitably harm them. And we could create a cultural framework where medical providers are not encouraged or paid to physically harm healthy human bodies.

The Winter Olympics begins Friday. There is a trans identified athlete from Sweden competing in moguls. She identifies as male, completes in the female category, and has not started any medical transition. Her name is Elis Lundholm.

@JohnWil71685113 @AutisticCallum_ They assume we don’t and can’t understand. Getting close would threaten to expose our understanding and their ineptitude, removing some of their sense of power over us.

@AutisticCallum_ People do not bother to be full friends with autistics because they know we cannot share fully in who they are, because they share these details in innuendo/allegory and they know we do not understand.

A lot of neurodivergent people put so much effort into our friendships and other relationships and wonder why this level effort is not reciprocated. My hypothesis is that many of us naturally give more than a lot of people do, because we may:

@johnboyne @jk_rowling ??? Trans men also exist, we just usually don't need to defend them quite as hard because you freaks dedicate the majority of your hatred towards trans women.

@johnboyne @jk_rowling It's never women can become men because for some reason being transmasc is way more accepted among people like you. I've met more ""women"" who became men than the other way around in fact. This argument is just uninformed

Here we go again🙄: A Black man died after he was pinned face down on the ground by four security guards outside a hotel in Milwaukee in an act his family’s lawyer is calling “disturbing” and “reminiscent of the killing of George Floyd.” Dvontaye Mitchell, 43, went to the downtown Hyatt Regency hotel on Sunday, June 30. Police said an individual had entered the business and “caused a disturbance,” and “fought with security guards as they were escorting” him out, the Milwaukee Police Department said. Security detained him until police arrived. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/d…

@TheThirstyWench @jk_rowling Maniacal laughter? Hold your strawmen. And sorry not sorry I was brought back to this twitter thread four years later because JK is still making headlines with her transphobia. I do not have the privilege to simply “move on.”

If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.

@jk_rowling Your strawman fallacy is what is nonsense. Sex being real and having real lived consequences doesn’t make me a wumben, wimpund, woomud, or woman.

The idea that women like me, who’ve been empathetic to trans people for decades, feeling kinship because they’re vulnerable in the same way as women - ie, to male violence - ‘hate’ trans people because they think sex is real and has lived consequences - is a nonsense.

@TheFrandalorian @Aleen @jk_rowling It isn’t a “female experience” for trans men/mascs and nonbinary afabs who intentionally continue menstruating to be able to conceive, or any other reason. No one is erasing women from a period discussion in saying that. Including other genders erases no one.

@Aleen @jk_rowling Noone said they're "defined" by their periods, periods are a biologically female thing. Doesnt matter if u've stopped, menstruation is still a female experience whether u had it once or u no longer do. Erasing the word women from this is a pattern I'm seeing a lot & cant embrace.

@sha_khadi @AutisticCallum_ Uh, I’ve been accused of that throughout my life when elaborating with critical details. The “usual flow of conversation” shouldn’t matter as much as the purpose and the content. Allistics hate clarifications on both ends. And their social ranking bs has long been established.

@AutisticCallum_ It might be because the autistic person overexpands on a topic they are interrested in, and has little understanding of the common flow of a conversation. I doubt it’s because they are considered lower in the social chain.

Whenever someone interrupts an Autistic person, nobody flinches or thinks that the interruption is rude. It is seen as a natural course of events. But when an Autistic person interrupts someone, their behaviour is perceived as rude, awkward and inappropriate. It’s so strange!

@Mancunicorn @AutisticCallum_ Yes, often I will be mid-sentence at the time they interrupt, and I’ll finish my sentence over them and be accused of interrupting. It’s like they only notice I am talking if they also are. Futile.

@AutisticCallum_ I've had to on occasion go, "Would you just let me talk, please?" Because I can't for the life of me understand why you would ask me a question and then talk over me in the same breath

@AutisticCallum_ Even we are only interrupting because they misunderstood us and we are trying to spare them energy. They don’t care that they misunderstood, only about the action of interrupting, out of context.
