A new Bar & Restaurant will be opening in Cobh shortly! We hope you will enjoy The Last Drop which will be launched on the site of the Quays Bar. We will be refreshing the venue over the next month and open in time for St Patrick’s Day with a full refurbishment planned for Q4

Just shy of four years trading in Cork City. During this time I have never seen such a high level of Garda presence on the streets. It has completely transformed the environment and made the city a better please to be.

This really is true. Get the flu jab if you can, as soon as you can, especially if you work with, or spend time with, vulnerable people. Also remember the other ways to avoid spreading bugs in the community….cough and sneeze into your elbow rather than your hands, don’t fight through that bug and go into work when you’re unwell if at all possible. In particular stay away from small babies if you’re not feeling well-even if it’s just a headcold to you, it can be much nastier for them.

@MaiaDunphy @HSELive Sorry misunderstood. Only ads I heard on the radio were about shingles from the company that produces the vaccine . Didn’t hear HSE recommending it. Bit harsh of them to recommend when the cost for so many is prohibitive.

@RuthRing @HSELive No, the HSE has nothing to do with administering it. They advise people to get it privately as it was decided not to include it on the routine schedule.

The @HSELive advising people to get the shingles vaccine when it costs €500?? That is madness! I understand there are many reasons certain vaccines aren't added to the routine schedule, but still.
