Can the FSD Summon feature be changed in such a way that if I start a Summon session while inside the radius, and the car needs to briefly exit the circle because of the parking lot layout, it gives us a couple of extra yards of tolerance? If it leaves the circle now, it just awkly stops. @Tesla_AI @aelluswamy

@DevinOlsenn Thank you for saving us “Average” people from the dangers of 14.3.2. Good thing us “Average” folks pay less for FSD than the “Experts”! In my 7 years experience with FSD I know 14.2.2.5 is much safer than 14.3.2, so make sure it is safe for us “Average” peeps, OK!

I really hope FSD’s highway behaviour and navigation gets fixed soon. I was sitting in the passenger seat this morning while Jae used FSD. We drove 45 minutes downtown, almost the entire drive was on the highway. Watching her struggle with FSD’s decisions made me realize there’s a lot of work to be done before your “average” person can use it without any issues. Something as simple as using the HOV lane, FSD still cannot do. It randomly pops in and out with no real rhyme or reason. It will camp the fast lane while the slow lane is empty (causing two different people to flash their lights at us). Was the whole drive safe? Yeah for sure, and that’s great! But there was probably 10+ times that Jae had to intervene to get the car to do the “right” thing - including taking over so it didn’t miss our exit. I absolutely love FSD, I think it’s game changing technology. But when it struggles with “basic” driving I can see why any non-enthusiasts would quickly dismiss the technology. You can get mad at me for my opinion on this all, but I think it’s truth 🤷‍♂️

@aelluswamy @BLKMDL3 Today is kings day in netherlands Many blocked roads Fsd saw correctly a blocked road but then went into infinite loop mode to try same route 3 times then i gave up. Any updates coming for this? Seems small thing to fix?

FSD v14.3.2 pulled onto the shoulder to avoid a car coming up at full speed that hadn't started its lane change yet, then got back into the lane, and then changed lanes to let another car merge onto the highway at the same time. @Tesla_AI @aelluswamy @elonmusk My first reaction was "what the hell is going on." I let it do its thing because since v14, FSD has shown me on many occasions that it was right and I was wrong. It really is becoming safer than humans at handling dangerous situations. I also want to point out that if this had been someone newer to FSD, they probably would have disengaged the moment FSD started swerving toward the shoulder, and would've posted "FSD tried to run me into the ditch".

D66 wil meer grip op migratie. Maar strafbaarstelling van iedereen die zonder papieren in Nederland is, past daar niet bij. Daar zijn we altijd helder over geweest. Dat we nu zonder de wet van Faber zitten, komt door politiek theater van Wilders. Jarenlang roepen dat het strenger moet, maar zodra het erop aankomt het eigen plan onderuit halen. Wij kiezen voor wat wél werkt: het tweestatusstelsel, Europese afspraken voor meer grip op migratie en daarnaast met nationale maatregelen controle op de instroom. Zo blijven we stap voor stap werken aan oplossingen die Nederland vooruit helpen.

Grappig hoeveel 'jamaar stoomtrein was ook eng'-reacties dit uitlokt. Stoomtrein was een product van ambacht en vooruitgangsdenken. Zelfrijdende auto's en AI zijn een dienst die je ambachtelijkheid & nadenken uit handen nemen.
