During the first airing of my Star Trek series where a kiss was objectionable; many southern stations pulled the episode & condemned the show. Using today’s vernacular it would absolutely be called“woke DEI crap”because it went against “norms” of society for its time. Not a lot seems to have changed.🤷🏼😑

@jnphotographies @TwiistedTr33_ It'd be different if this were Oklahoma. I was the duty forecaster at Tinker for the '13 Moore EF5, and saw that some workplaces were letting out early. The schools didn't, and sheltering in place still got the death toll.
SE'ern PA doesn't get those sort of isold supercells.

@SPD17 @TwiistedTr33_ I'll never understand why schools let out early, I mean we've been through severe storms in the past. When I was in school and there was a tornado warning, we sheltered in place until the warning was out of the area, even if it meant staying past dismissal time.
