@NickSimpsonArch Recently some friends had a listed building application refused because they wanted to change horrendous single glazed window to double glazed. Still timber sash.. exact same detail. Ironic thing is - the windows weren’t even original. The climate v conservation paradox. 🤦‍♂️

Someone I know recently submitted a planning application with external wall insulation and render to the front of their entirely average semi-detached house. Case officer has said that the application will be refused unless changed. When will councils take retrofit seriously?
