Hello, I'd like to remind everyone about the upcoming World Blood Donors Day. It's important not to wait until that specific day to donate blood. Donating blood at any time can make a significant impact in saving lives and contribute to the overall well-being of the community.

BringBackNgonnso/Nso Royal Objects n Linden museum
27 of June 2024 is going to make it exactly 2 years since the decision to return Ngonnso was issued. Despite @SPK and Nso's willingness to have this return as soon as December of 2022, our Queen mother and other heritages with decisions are still in Germany. It is unacceptable that the return of our heritages are caught in political dragnet. A glimpse of hope fast becoming a boiling pot of night meres for Nso people. #BringBackNgonnso #Ngonnso #RestitutionNow #AfricanHeritageMatters @zeitonline @MINAC237 @OlschowskiPetra @GermanyDiplo @GermanyInAfrica @GermanyinCMR @CamasejN @OlivetteOtele

Today is day 2 and finals day of our Indeginous Games tournament, 2023-2024 session in Bamenda. Activities and games are ongoing. The kids are actively carrying out recreational activities, which will help them learn social values easily. In addition, these games also help them  to  learn teamwork, support and respect each other even when they are losing, think strategically before making decisions which will help enhance their cognitive skills. To add, these games require lots of physical activities that promotes health and well-being. Let's watch out for the winners as the games are still ongoing 😊💃💃

During our International museum day open conversation under the theme: "Museums and Decolonization within the Context of Neocolonialism", Ngong Elijah, one of the panelist made a compelling case for Afrocentric heritage management. “As a carver with more than 30 years of experience, I believe that Africa has what it takes to safeguard its heritage from creation to whatever life span we decide to give it.  All it takes is awareness and sustainable knowledge documentation and transfer systems, but first, it must start with decolonizing mindsets of Africans – we are more than enough. Finding African solutions to our problems is not only socio-politically empowering, but also economically viable.”

During our International museum day open conversation under the theme: "Museums and Decolonization within the Context of Neocolonialism", Dr. Mbuh Dora who was one of our panelists made a clear cut for why we have to value, use and protect our cultural spaces. “Traditional Cultural spaces serve similar purposes as museum spaces – spaces of learning and exchanges. However, in the context of Africa, traditional cultural spaces are also heritages that need to be protected and promoted more than we are doing now.  We must rethink and revalue our cultural spaces: these are the only places where the interests of communities are protected. If museums and traditional cultural spaces must find common ground, we must go back to the drawing board and start having conversations like we do today.”

Indigenous games are vital part of our cultural heritage, yet over time it’s loosing its place to contemporary games and globalization. We are excited to announce REGARTLESS’s next edition of indigenous games tournament for children in primary education affected by the on going armed conflict in Bamenda on the 29th and 30 of May We continue to revive these games for prosterity, taping into its potential to enhance social cohesion and intercultural dialogues in Cameroon . Children have the right to their cultural heritage and deserve safe spaces to bond. This year’s edition brings together 40 participants. We are looking forward to an exciting session with the pupils and other sports officials.

As Africans, we come together to reflect on the importance of Africa Day. From 1963 when we unanimously agreed to come together under one union; AU, we have been battling with different struggles as individual nations and as a continent, striving for the better and yes, we are making huge progress. We reaffirm our solidarity with this beautiful continent by continuously imploring Afro-centric solutions to global issues. #throwback to our last indigenous games tournament in Bamenda. The smiles on their faces - hope for a community dwindled down by an armed conflict. Peace building and Social cohesion through indigenous games. The beauty of this game: Very inclusive: boys and girls alike in same game You don’t need to be extremely talented The concept of competition is healthy. #AfricanHeritageMatter @CSSC_Oxford @rumiforum @UNAOC @InterInnovHub @Global4Children @unicefcameroon @UnescoYaounde
