The more we learn the more it is clear that the Air Traffic Controller was doing his best. His compulsion to take all the blame and responsibility is deeply honourable. He did so acutely aware the world would hear his words. As such he deserves the forgiveness, respect and compassion of all Canadians. His life will be very difficult going forward.
