The evidence IS overwhelming. Rejoining the EU is inevitable, so why wait until further damage has been done? The public are behind it. Time to stop being afraid of a Brexiter backlash & to start the application process. EU will welcome us back if we can prove we mean business.

@andrewhesselden I've just been at the Twin Fair in Calais, handing out maps of Kent, promoting the county's attractions and showing them what it has to offer. So many locals told me how they used to come over for day trips before Brexit made passports necessary and long border delays inevitable.

Young people want Freedom of Movement for life. Not just a two year visa for one country before they’re 31.

The delay of ETIAS to 2027 will be welcomed by many non EU travellers who navigate Schengen borders on a regular basis. It also provides a window of opportunity for Starmer to negotiate a mutual exemption or even a return to mutual Freedom of Movement. bit.ly/45v9JpR
