No cap on public spending on Elim. 1898 Merton Hall “swapped” w/out any covenants after Council valued it at £600k& church (pix) at £4mln. Council paid £3mln contract to demolish it to “refit” for Elim. Council paid £10.1 mln to buy 2 toxic air sites for school

Yes, and in Merton our council are trying to apply that to secondary schools too. Evidence ignored to push through a decision that already had been made, and had many other disastrous consequences. @SaveMertonHall @HAWimbledon

It seems wrong, retrospectively to cancel the only real condition that will help residents who have no choice but to live behind a busy church. If doors are left open, as they are currently, it will be v noisy
