If this drags into next month, then the Swiss may get involved.

After reviewing recent developments in the Strait of Hormuz and considering all available information, I see this as the most likely scenario playing out in the next month

@DesmondSwayne If you take the NI paid and invested it then it comes out about equal. Triple lock was a temporary measure to bring pensions up to a decent amount, now completed so we need a better system. Perhaps a pensioners price index with a basket weighted towards pensioner spending?

If, like me, you were born in 1956, you’ll receive almost £300,000 more in benefits than you’ll pay in taxes in your lifetime State Pensions make up a huge chunk of that Long term, we simply can’t afford to sustain the Triple Lock’s generosity Blog: desmondswaynemp.com/ds-blog/1956/?…

A suitcase in a tree in Walsall. Over a no flytipping sign. God knows how they got it up there. It's a filthy inner town area if I leave it it will be here years. I'll take a step ladder next week. Its ridiculous

@RadicalFalk People should make more talking videos like this on X. Easy way to get millions of impressions with basically no followers.

@althoughsg A good question. It is known as Olbers Paradox. AI or Wikipedia can answer it better than me.

🚨 | Hello! Bit of a weird one this, but I'm going to be away from 27th April for up to 24 nights without access to the internet (I can explain why in a few months time...). Obviously, I'm aware this is the worst possible time of year for me to be absent. So, I'm looking for someone (or a group) to do a 'Guest Residency' of ElectionMapsUK to cover the 2026 Local Elections while I'm away! If you, or a group of you would like to apply to do this, it would be much appreciated if you could fill out the form below. Ideally you'll have some knowledge of the software I use, but I don't expect applicants to be able to do it all, so I'm most likely looking to get 2-3 people onboard. forms.gle/ewF1HypMUz5Mhk…

British nicknames are an unregulated industry. a 5'6 tradesman called Anthony is professionally known as Shetland Tony. a man who lost an eye is called Keth. a quiet man wore a yellow jumper once and became Mumblebee. what's the best nickname you've ever heard

@RealTimVine Bit like darts, ie you are aiming for the bull but you have to launch the dart so that it arrives at the bull after gravity has taken its toll. Seems like darts players brains are equal to NASA.

Wow. I think I imagined them flying in a straight line from Earth to the Moon. Thanks for that.
GI Chow@GIChowDotcom

@RealTimVine @NASA Good question - I think they're at the point around 14s through this video. They started towards the moon at over 20k mph but with gravity have slowed down to 5k mph now (before slingshotting around & heading back) so get a nice long view of the dark side. x.com/i/status/20406…

@infraredreport @BullandBaird Yes although NASAs solution is a reduced version of the 3 body problem and a lot of the issues can be discounted, fortunately

@BullandBaird Lookup up CR3BP. The three body problem is famously not solvable, so it is rather tricky.
