@Stammy Would’ve been an instant buy if it was column staggered. It’s so much easier to type on than the staggered layout I feel it’s criminal to continue using staggered.

This. She has been on national television and social media talking about "Jewish Supremacy" and the "Jewish Elite". She is a Jew hater. That is her crime. She is a threat to other law abiding citizens and is therefore incompatible with society - That is what the law should be there to resolve. What also remains shocking is why she has not been struck off the medical register, why is she suspended for 18 months. She is a disgrace to her profession and to the people in the country.

There is a significant danger here that she is being charged specifically on support for Hamas but not on any other charges that could be more strongly evidenced such as her hate-filled antisemitic rhetoric and incitement against British Jews. I'm also seriously concerned with what this could mean for the many thousands of NHS staff out there who support Palestinian rights and even volunteer their time to support/deliver healthcare in Palestine but who do not peddle antisemitism. Dr Rahmeh Aladwan is undeserving of the support she appears to be getting and she also shouldn't be making such worldwide news either. This is really damaging to Palestine solidarity efforts and is also giving the UK government a convenient way to justify draconian clamp downs that prevents real and legitimate solidarity with Palestinians among NHS workers and healthcare practitioners.

Dr Rahmeh Aladwan has once again been arrested by London's Met Police for breaching bail conditions by posting things on social media that were allegedly supportive of proscribed groups. This marks the fifth time that Aladwan, a 31-year-old trainee trauma and orthopaedic surgeon, has been arrested. She has previously faced allegations that she posted antisemitic content and expressed support for violent action and proscribed organisations on social media. Last November, a medical tribunal suspended her for 15 months despite no patient complaints against her. The tribunal said that her posts “may impact on patient confidence” in both her and the medical profession, while patients could be “discouraged” from seeking treatment from her.
