Too many people on my timeline are talking about why we need OSS AI because they can just turn off the faucet at any time. This is missing the bigger point. We need OSS AI because this AI company literally turned that AI model against you to psychologically mislead you.

@Sentdex They just said they refactored everything two days ago. All new documentation, and now 13 skills with your AI harness for vibe coding. You can even use their Terminal Mode to build apps for the glasses on the glasses. But yeah it used to suck for sure. Maybe still does, will try

@tunguz @NationwideTrans car transport is such a crazy industry. It's all just brokers who subcontract out the job to carriers @ spot pricing/bids. Often better off going with mid-size brokers because those people actually form real relationships with the drivers they contract to.

@Sentdex Search dominated with an algo, still largely designed by humans, deception was mostly by way of censorship, or boosting. Though, now the humans have little control over the types of manipulation, or deception ultimately possible.

@SearchDataEng Yeah, I think search is a corollary example, but there's something about a conversational AI that makes it so much worse. Tough to put my finger on it, but my brain has been totally broken since they released fable over them doing it. I literally cannot believe they did it.

@__K8r @louis_filhol SURELY anthropic models are being used for something and that's why you hit that. Lots of agents are using models for ancillary tasks, but that's a curious error. I did many millions of tokens on 5.2 yesterday and never saw that, but if I did that'd be a problem XD

@louis_filhol @Sentdex one strange thing I did notice is that my Pi setup made this strange error reference to anthropic. I researched a little bit and it says that they're using a similar library. it did seem like I had GLM 5.2 set as my model though, with an API key I got from Z.ai
