Here’s what you need to know for a smooth start from Newlands Main Road: Runners will be seeded into 19 batches across two groups: Group One (A–P) Start chutes open at 03h30 and close at 05h00. If you’re not in your chute by 05h00, you’ll need to line up behind Batch P (Dean Street) and your race time will start with Batch P. Group Two (Q–U) Start chutes open at 03h30 and close at 05h20.
