Wizkid is a visionary.
Beyond the incredible musical talent, he understands the psychology of his fans when to lower expectations, when to build tension, and when to make everyone lose their minds.
I remember genuinely being worried. I thought Made in Lagos might end up being his “risky” album. The sound was different and I wasn’t sure the fanbase was ready for that shift.
Silly me.
Little did I know Big Wiz had already been preparing everyone for that moment since the days of Sound From The Other Side and Soundman Vol. 1.
Those projects were the runway for the perfect landing that was Made in Lagos.
If Sound From The Other Side confused you…
If Soundman Vol. 1 made you question the direction…
Made in Lagos was the answer.
And the transition wasn’t built only on his own projects. You could hear it in the features he was doing around that period the sonic shift was happening in real time.
That’s why I’m convinced REAL is the beginning of another era for Big Wiz.

"there's no clear threat on ground" yet people have fled their houses and it has been taken over by weeds and bushes. There are no clear threats but IEDs are being planted enroute villages and communities to prevent the military from entering them to conduct clearance operations, keep living in denial, keep denying the fact that the people who were masquerading as agitators/liberators, are the perpetrator causing havoc.
Keep throwing false speculations, the military has been carrying out clearance operations in the south east for months, peace and normalcy is been restored to the south east.

They've done everything else and failed
Now, they want to terrorise our people while using state institutions to quietly spread rumours that "na because Peter Obi no gree step down na why dem de suffer una," in the hope that they'd turn the people against PO & use them to turn up the pressure against him, while also using it to shift attention from their obvious failures and criminality in government.
It's the same thing they did when they went on a demolition spree of Igbo-owned houses in Lagos and threatening Igbo elites' businesses in the hope that they'd turn on PO because "na because of am we de suffer this thing."
That crusade is why you see a lot of them trooping into the shitty boys movement.
