“If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. “If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people. “Those who wish to proceed in that direction can not lay claim to progress. They are reactionary. Their ideas are not more modern, but more ancient, than those of the Revolutionary fathers.” -Calvin Coolidge

China’s solar power plant in Dunhuang uses around 12,000 mirrors to focus sunlight onto a central tower, heating molten salt to extreme temperatures. That heat is stored and used to generate electricity on demand, including after sunset.

@JynMarus @BertaLovin @volcaholic1 BTW, I like solar, when used correctly. As in on top of houses in high sunlight areas. I live in PHX, and have solar. My energy bill is $0 for 8 months of the year. And its never more than $100/month, even when it is 105+ for 4 months straight.

@Timcast No, people are correctly calling you out for treating the opinion of this Jiang character, as anything other than a retarded CCP propagandist. And a shitty one at that.

At least for me, however, I did expect functional retards to view fact statements as advocacy Trump is fighting to maintain the Liberal Economic Order under the petrodollar; the core reason for war with Iran BRICS has long been growing an opposing force
Isaiah L. Carter 🇺🇸@IsaiahLCarter

Of all the things I've seen in the last few years, NEVER did I think that Tim Pool would go FULL Woke Right. Absolutely disgusted by this. Rooting against the sovereignty of the nation he was born in...and for what??

Trump wants to keep the US as the global hegemon and keep the world under the petrodollar But a new world order is emerging One that will cede power to several large nations.
Matt Morse@MattMorseTV

Chinese "professor" Jiang says that the United States should willingly forfeit it's role as the #1 global superpower to China and Russia, to which Tucker Carlson agrees and then blames Israel for preventing that from happening. Dude, what happened to Tucker?

@FurkanGozukara This is the opposite of desperation. Them being used means that they have total air dominance. But keep wish casting on behalf of Iran.

Absolute desperation. The US is deploying slow, unstealthy Cold War-era A-10s to the Strait of Hormuz to fight fast attack boats. These planes are sitting ducks for Iran's advanced air defenses. The Pentagon is sending pilots on a suicide mission.

What on Earth is he talking about? The US military decisively defeated Chinese and Russian tech in both Venezuela and Iran. It’s just lying to say otherwise. Our only struggles have been entirely political and economic, but this would matter considerably less in WW3 given the stakes of losing. Not to mention, China would be the invading force. If their technology failed in defensive warfare, how do they expect to win an offensive war? Just pure demoralization propaganda. Assuming both sides were fully committed, America would win decisively in Taiwan as it currently stands.
The Economist@TheEconomist

“The US is not going to defend and cannot defend Taiwan.” @TuckerCarlson tells @zannymb that America has reached the limits of its power and has to now share it with China. Watch the full Insider interview: econ.st/4dDjBlU

@michaelgorvitz1 @Elonisgayrnatm @MsMelChen @VinceDaoTV Its an extremely expensive, and incredibly specialized product that Taiwan has been damn good at. In hindsight, yes it was very shortsighted. Which is why we are trying to play catch up. Here in Phoenix, we just put up 2 massive chip factory's. But its gonna take a while.

@michaelgorvitz1 @MsMelChen @VinceDaoTV Until we are self sufficient in production of high end micro processors, we and the rest of the developed world for matter have a huge interest is protecting Tiawan. 90% of the worlds micro processors are made there. All modern electronics on earth would be at China's mercy.

@MsMelChen @VinceDaoTV The other think I don’t understand- how ability to defend Taiwan is a marker of America strength. It is a small island very far from the U.S and very close to China. Defending it is very difficult and not as vital for America as it used to be during the Cold War.
