@TheGreenFireCS The answer is neither! Skins are a plague on this game once valve became smart and realized their players won’t vote with their wallets when the game is bad. CS2 would have been fixed if we stopped spending money on it.

@FoolyCOD To be honest, any COD with skill-based matchmaking is terrible because any merit they have is masked by a system that cucks how the game is played. A game like Cold War would instantly become gas if you removed it.

@rattecs I wish people would actually vote with their wallet. If we all as a community stopped spending money on this game at once. You WILL see valve immediately fix their game. But instead the community will go bananas when valve drops worthless digital pixels.

there's literally not a single excuse for this. an anti-cheat is a core feature of any multiplayer game and should receive the same effort as other core game systems. valve has the developers and the money to create something that works but they just choose not to.

🚨ℹ️ Almost 6 months since the last real VACnet improvement. Everything since then has been failed heuristic pushes, false positive waves, and rollbacks, leaving detection worse than before. The last actual good and meaningful VACnet behavior update was on October 17, 2025, when Valve updated detection patterns so VACnet started catching rage and semi-rage cheating features, forcing cheaters to rely more on closet cheating (green TF). We are now half a year in without a real improvement or impactful update to VACnet. For half a year, the game has been going downhill to the point where it now offers the most degraded experience in any competitive FPS.

@ItsBrokas Nah I mean’t the one in game. Which I deem to be better because it involves no alt-tab nor the steam overlay and has a couple of extra filtering options. The way I play CS:GO now is through csgo_gc which fixes and the inventory.

@Delta1388568 @cs2community I’m not saying “I never got killed in the warm-up arena.” I’m jokingly saying that complaining about its existence in the way you’re saying is a skill issue. Me personally I’d MUCH rather take that than the waiting for players while enemy spawn camps you.

@StillLeanpTTV Honestly the COD 4 Remaster is kinda shit. The Art-style change makes the game appear more like a cartoon than anything the original was going for. Oh and lootboxes in the games multiplayer are actually ass!

@FoolyCOD I would like that if they made good remasters but judging how shit the COD 4 remaster was by adding lootboxes and crippling the art-style (looks too bright and colorful for that game’s standards) I just do not trust them with anything regarding that. :(

@SlippiSRC Not even a hot take. I think COD doesn't have to necessarily be colourful, but the MW games just do nothing with that imo beyond it just being grounded. It doesn't do anything with it, it's just boring.

people will always just do what they want. Minecraft exists in a way that many other games do not. people always try to apply other game design rules to Minecraft. forgetting that there is nothing that makes players do anything. there is no "optimal option" unless players want it

I've come around to the realization that Elytras are by and large one of the worst additions to Minecraft because they entirely eliminated a pillar of base building (especially on servers) by making literally every other transportation method redundant once you get one

@Dexerto I don't mind Steam integrating AI But integrating it into Steam Support and Anti-Cheat...yeah no that ain't it, most big corporations with ai as support make things 10x harder, and most Anti-Cheat systems are already inaccurate, adding ai to both these things will ruin Steam
