Just heard the best/worst caller on the Dave Ramsey podcast. Married couple, under 30. $145,000 household income. Came on the show to celebrate paying off the mortgage on their $450,000 Georgia home. Said they starting paying it off early 5 years ago, meaning they had a low interest rate home loan (probably <3%) and started to aggressively pay it down right as interest rates were starting to rise. Dave Ramsey loved it, launching into a lecture about how 26-year olds who say they can’t buy homes should look at this couple for inspiration. Hahaha.

Sometimes I lose faith in humanity. When I discussed a case of a 17yo girl who was euthanized in the Netherlands (for depression), I noted that the euthanasia doctor was also a public proponent of organ donation at euthanasia, and I questioned this practice by explaining how it works (sedation, declared brain-dead, harvest, physical death). In response to this, a family member of the dead girl directed his army of online trolls at me with death threats, threats of violence, and threats of stalking. I was baffled and surprised at the hate that common people can put on display IN DEFENSE OF KILLING YOUNG PEOPLE, whereas those same people will never do anything to make a stand for an innocent living victim. However, two months after the girl was killed, 14 Dutch psychiatrist sent a letter of complaint to the Public Prosecutor in April 2024. They wrote that the girl “was not decision-competent” and she should not have been euthanized. I agreed with this, and it got me more online hate. Last February, 19 psychiatrists wrote an essay in a Dutch psychiatry magazine saying that euthanasia for people under age 25 should be effectively banned (though not forbidden) and that euthanasia requests for such young people should be considered calls to action, not cause for killing. This restored my trust in humanity a bit. But I’m afraid I have to write off a good portion of humanity and simply regard them “rabid village people” who’ll never better themselves, because they don’t know what morality is.

Friend’s mom went to the hospital for a couple days due to a heart issue. I drove friend over one night to see her, we were the only white people I saw. Everybody going in and out, patients waiting in ER, visitors, front desk worker, all foreign. Their mom said she only had one white nurse, rest were foreign, doctors all foreign — middle of Ohio. She could hardly understand most of them. Oftentimes they were speaking to each other in foreign languages. One, we gotta clear this all out. Super low quality, fake credentials, DEI seats at medical schools, all insane. Two, you really need to avoid a situation where you find yourself in the “care” of foreigners who are all on a steady diet of how evil whites are. They are totally incompetent if not outright malicious. Friend’s mom was in there for 36 hours and they brought the wrong medicine in to give her at one point. Anytime I’m out irl touching grass, I realize it’s all worse than we think. It was bizarre being in this giant building for a couple hours and seeing nothing but foreigners scurry around clacking about.
