@phillipdawson We waited a whole year for an initial review (allied health journal) and have now been waiting on decision post-revisions for 3 months!! But my own review capacity has been decimated in past 2yrs so I am (resentfully) sympathetic. Eds must be exhausted.

Submitted a paper to Studies in Higher Education more than two months ago and it still hasn't been sent out for review. Is this unusual or just par for the course right now? I can't imagine it has gotten easier to get reviewers in the current climate.
