@StablesBnB @AvalonMarshes Beautiful birds, seem to have a very relaxed outlook on life as they gently wander around the reed beds.

A male Marsh Harrier scours the reedbeds on the @AvalonMarshes in search of prey for its growing chicks. In 1971 it was Britain's rarest breeding bird of prey with just a single pair; its recovery is both remarkable and a beacon of hope for other species.

Weighing little more that a AAA battery the Reed Warbler still has time to share its chattering song whilst raising two broods in the reed beds of the @AvalonMarshes before it returns to Africa for the winter
