Not a single person in the Iran office was affected by RIFs. It's disappointing that the @AP decided to denigrate the career foreign service officers and civil servants who currently lead the NEA bureau.

This commonsense solution is just one example of our effective consular policies that are putting Americans and their interests first.

It costs the American taxpayer over $18,000 on average to remove an illegal alien from the United States. Our expanded visa bond program will save U.S. taxpayers up to $800 MILLION per year while drastically reducing the number of illegal visa overstays.
