@FcJunction Sadly that happened a fair bit with my Dad, but mostly it took so long to be seen that his levels had dropped somewhat. Eventually after multiple visits and we had a kind Doctor who referred him to the diabetes clinic and got him started on slow release insulin.

MIL is safely home ❤️ Unbeknown after Grumpy man took her for blood tests after a weight loss her blood sugars were over 30 hence the rush to hospital Type two diabetes Thankfully her neighbour is a nurse and our good friend lives a few doors up who is also a nurse

The strange happenings in the house occur when there is upset or stress Things move or odd things appear Bearing in mind I’ve just hoovered, I found this at the bottom of the stairs- a teddies eye My mother-in-law is currently in hospital, hopefully coming home soon

This weekend has been long! My dad came to visit to help with some jobs. Instead, he's been ill & developed pneumonia. M & I have been looking after him. Had to take him to Out Of Hours GP, lots of medication prescribed. I'm praying he feels better & doesn't end up in hospital.

@ElaineR47 You have my every sympathy. Been through similar in my family. Never easy to cope nor to try and persuade them of how things really are. That often just stirs up anger.

Tonight has been a little more emotional.. Mum was convinced we'd lost someone, for over an hour I had to convince her everything was as it should be. Plus a period where she didn't know who I was.. All hugs gratefully received..💔 #altzimers

Was all excited yesterday was so much better. I worked a full day with no headache or pain. Went for dinner last night with Matt. Got home, felt exhausted, so went to bed. Just woken up with a temp of 39.5...! 111 say back to pharmacy at 8am. I'm done with being ill. 😭😷
