This man has only been in Ireland 2 years. He has 2 previous convictions for public order offences & has already received a 7-month suspended sentence for carrying a knife. Now this. I'm not sure why he was here in the first place. But he's had his chances & should be deported.

I think Good Friday should be made a public holiday. As some businesses observe it already, it would be least costly. It would then bring our number to 11, which is fairly close to the EU average given many EU holidays fall on a weekend so workers don’t get the Monday off.

@travelingflying Ireland absolutely did colonise, just like every other nation in the United Kingdom did before WW1. Plenty of Irish people served in the British Navy, Army and Colonial service.
