John Lynch on the left guard position: “Connor Colby is a guy who started 6 games for us. A 7th round pick from Iowa last year. We liked the progression that Connor had. We like where he’s at and how he’s looking as he enters year 2. Year 1 to year 2 is always a big jump and we hope to get that jump from Connor.” It’ll more than likely come down to Colby and Robert Jones for the LG spot

@nfldraftscout They really should. They’ve gone off the trails with these evaluations early on. The FO can’t be in their own world always thinking you’re smarter than everyone else when their track record doesn’t show for it. Look at Seattle’s drafts the past four years - NAILED so many picks🎯

I’m not going to lie, I’m shocked the #49ers went WR. However, this is why I stopped doing mock drafts a long time ago because I realized IDK what the hell goes on in these war rooms. Did anyone have DeZhaun Stribling getting drafted by the Niners?

Scheyer’s decision to go to a zone in the second half and extend pressure flipped the game. St John’s offense never found rhythm after that, and it stopped their surprisingly hot shooting. Been Duke’s HC for four years, and he’s going to his third straight Elite Eight. Unreal.
