The #ViennaDiscussionForum 2024 explored the intersection between environmental sustainability & gender equality. Under the theme “Why Waste It? Unlocking Opportunities for Environmental Protection & Gender Equality,” we highlighted the role of women in sustainable supply chains.

The opening panel, featuring 🇸🇪 Minister for Gender Equality & Working Life @Pau_Brandberg, @UNIDO Director-General @DGgerdmueller, & @UNODC Executive Director @GhadaFathiWaly, underscored the urgent need for #gender-sensitive approaches to #circulareconomy & #wastemanagement.

Met with President @ZelenskyyUa today. Sweden’s 144 million euro in additional military and civilian support for the coming winter, show that we mean what we say: Sweden will support Ukraine for as long as it takes.
