@Xfinity It's "back" but at an amazing 8 Mbps, which is like, 0.8 percent of what it should be.

Before @Xfinity shut off their outage map to save face, it was showing multiple outages each with over 2500+ customers impacted in our area. Super cool that they have a monopoly and are subsidised with our tax dollars.

@gaghyogi49 I think it's blurry because the focus plane of the camera is on Data here - which is a cool artistic choice! In SD it's hard to see these subtle focus differences.

Tam Elbrun's orders in the original ⬅️ and remastered ➡️ versions of "Tin Man". Even in the remastering, where such text is normally clearly legible, the text appears very blurry, maybe to match the blurry text on the LCARS buttons to the left and right.

@JenMillsArt Yeah, the type of person who calls something woke and then spends hours pouring over frames to find mistakes (or not even mistakes, just vfx supporting covid protocol in this case) is not the type of person I'd want to invest any time in educating

And furthermore, is there perhaps a deeper and broader issue at play here that deserves our focus, that might allow for more meaningful and positive change to manifest if we were to align and direct our energies at addressing the source?

Educating the public on how games / films are made seems a great way to address this kind of thing, but it first requires an audience that is willing to learn. When ignorance is used as a cheap fuel to feed the ego, it will be fiercely guarded by those unwilling to grow.
